With the end goal of getting more ‘complete picture’ data in front of users (less clicking), we’re slowly going through each search interface and profile on Mergr and updating how info is delivered.
If you haven’t already checked it out – the result table on the Company Search page has recently been refreshed to show company investor (or acquirer) info as well as company level M&A activity – in one consolidated view.
This is helpful if you’d like to quickly filter companies by ownership status (for example ‘PE Backed’ + ‘Chemicals’) and see which results are actively acquiring (or selling).
By adding sponsor info into the same view, you now have a consolidated view of Owner + Target + Target M&A at your finger-tips.
We’ve also updated private equity firm profiles to highlight portfolio-level M&A as well.
With this updated view, simply scroll down any firm’s profile to see which portfolio companies are actively acquiring – and how many.
We hope these changes (and those to come) make your research simpler.
If you have any feedback/ideas or would like to check out the updates for yourself – don’t hesitate to contact us.
